Cyrus Parlin is a creative and driven data scientist based in Kansas City.

Most recently, Cyrus worked at DraftKings as part of its nascent sportsbook. There, he led a team analyzing business performance and guiding operational teams.

Cyrus’ time at DK was preceded by a tenure at the advertising agency dentsu X. At dentsu X, Cyrus created forecasting models in a client facing capacity amongst other tasks.

Prior to dentsu X, Cyrus worked at the fraud detection company Featurespace, where he worked on real-time fraud detection systems. Additionally, Cyrus worked as a data scientist in the marketing department at HD Supply, where he developed churn models.

Cyrus completed a Master of Science in Business Analytics at University College London. His dissertation focused on understanding the efficacy of different machine learning algorithms.

He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University in Atlanta. He concentrated in Marketing and Marketing Analytics. In addition, Cyrus completed a second major in Art History.
